Gitzo Long D Profile Arca-Swiss Compatible with Rubber are the accessories to get when you have a heavy camera attached to your spotting scope and need to balance the combination. You can also use one of the screws to put some support under the camera. The extra length lets you slide the plate back and forth until the balance is right. The (Arca-Swiss style) plates comes with three 1/4' camera screws (and one 1/4'-3/8' screw adapter), which can be tightened by hand, using a coin or with the supplied Allen key to make it as easy as possible to use, no matter where you are and what tools you have to hand.
